Social Security receives A+ on Computer Security
Ranking Member Tom Davis, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, released the Eighth Report Card on Computer Security at Federal Agencies. According to this report card, Social Security has moved from an “A” rating in 2006 to an “A+” rating in 2007.
Computer security is very important to all claimants because Social Security no longer uses paper files for disability claims. All records regarding claims, including all evidence, only exist electronically in the Social Security computers.
